When I first started blogging it was largely because I enjoyed the process of writing. It wasn’t because I thought I was very good, and that I should share my ‘talent’ with the world, instead it was very much a selfish thing, with that final act of ‘publishing’ something being one that, up until then, had been hard to achieve.

I’ve always written the occasional piece of short fiction, or just general prose about something mundane. I like the way words can play on a rhythm or merge to become one, the way you can manipulate and abuse them.

One Man Tales is just an outlet for that. A separate place where I’m not constrained by any expectations other than my own. There is no grand plan here, just words, stories, ideas and cadence.
